The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is an international financial institution that supports projects in over 30 countries, from eastern Europe to central Asia and the southern and eastern Mediterranean. The EBRD is owned by 65 countries and two intergovernmental institutions: the European Union and the European Investment Bank (EIB).

Through the financial investments, business services and involvement in high-level policy dialogue, the EBRD promotes entrepreneurships, innovation, growth and transparency and fosters the transition to market economies.

The European Bank of Reconstruction and Development is the largest international financial investor in Ukraine. The EBRD provides a comprehensive support package for Ukraine to assist its stabilization and the anchoring of its reforms, agriculture being among the priority sectors.
